The Moment of Truth Nigeria is an entrepreneurial TV show featuring high profile leaders and underrepresented individuals succeeding in the industry. The TV series is to support and provide an opportunity to reward young talented students or graduates who have unbeatable business ideas.
2 / Who can participate in the Challenge?
Participation in this Reality Show is opened to every Nigerian citizen between the ages of 20 to 35 years. You must either be enrolled for the current academic year in a University/College or a recent graduate of not more than a year.
3 / How is the Challenge different from other business case competitions?
We have a different theme for Season 2 which provides the add-on opportunities for recent graduates to meet recruiters for internship placements, for current students to receive insights from industry experts at their education institution as well as the opportunity to network and connect with professionals on a 1-2-1 level. This season will be different. We have created an entertaining and inspirational TV show combined with a crowdfunding element where viewers can also watch and have the opportunity to invest in the viable student businesses to help them launch.
4 / What kind of business ideas are we sourcing for?
We encourage a business idea that is commercially viable to solve big problems.
5 / Is this a physical audition?
Physical auditions only. More details will follow if your submission is through to the first stage of the competition.
6 / How do I submit my idea? Can I change my submission form after it is already submitted?
Once your entry is submitted, you will not be allowed to substantially change or edit it once you are through to the first stage. You are however encouraged to continue to develop and refine your idea.
7 / Can I submit more than one idea?
Please submit one idea that is truly viable enough to reach the finale.
8 / Can existing business owners also apply or it's only for new business ideas?
A student entrepreneur with an existing innovative business can only apply for Season 2. Please look out for future seasons for business owners.
9 / I'm a graduate but don’t have an idea, but I would like to participate. Can I join the competition?
We strongly encourage you to try to create your own ideas, even if they are rough sketches, we encourage you to still submit for Stage 1.

Stages of the Show
Registration
Contestants are expected to fill out Registration Form on the website stating their business ideas, with upload of their full pictures.
Audition Stage 1
30 successful contestants from the first stage will be called for Auditions based at selected locations.
Audition Stage 2
Contestants will present their startup idea in a pitch battle to a panel of judges. The selected semi-finalists will undergo boot-camp training from industry experts.
Finale
The top semi-finalists who are through to the final stage are expected to present an elevator pitch, demonstrating their professional aptitude, strength & skills and why they should be the winner of the student entrepreneur competition. This will take place at a physical location.
